I’ve been in a serious state of blog-neglect this week.  To make up for it, I wrote a Recap in Rap! of my week.   If you ever wondered why I’m single, it ain’t cuz of my rap skillz… haha.

Week Of August 9th, 2010

So I started my week with a super long day,
Never did I think I was gonna get away.
I made it to my place around a quarter to 10 -
Had to get up at 6 and do it all again!

Tuesday came with a slower pace
I even had time to check my face…
Book! I booked some dancers for a client
Heard the show they gave was quite a riot!

Wednesday let me leave on time,
I couldn’t believe I saw my house before 9.
Oops, I didn’t license a track -
Lucky for me, that band is wack…
And the price they were asking was wayyy too much.
Don’t be asking for g’s when your name is washed up!

The 4th day was a little unexpected -
A pre-pro meeting left me feeling connected.
Got some answers from God on the car ride home.
If you don’t know it – you’re never alone.

Today was a dream, nothing bad or wretched -
Had a couple of laughs, wasn’t feeling rejected.
That’s my week real short in rap

Words yo.

It’s lovely to see my house for more than 2 hours!  I’ve been so super busy at work… literally getting home at around 10:00 pm every night!  Except for Wednesday – I left work at 5:00 pm to go record a rap song.  Still for work, but it didn’t feel like work   It was fun!  I wasn’t the rapper, but a co-producer!  Those are the things I really love about my job.  Staying til 9:30 for a week, not so much!  So much for my workout routine =/

I did get a lot done today though… Cleaning, shopping, groceries, etc.  I’m also watching a co-worker’s friend’s cats for the next 10 days.  I have to feed them twice a day.  It’s not so bad – a little extra cash.  It’s just bad timing though since I’m not home much.  And getting up early on the weekends to go feed them isn’t the most fun!  But I’ll do it   It’s too late to get out of it now anyway. haha.

Well, I’ll be spending the rest of my evening catching up on everything I’ve DVR’d over the last week.  I’m already watching All My Children <3.  hehe.  Hope ya’ll have a great weekend!

If there ever were a day to start drinking… if there ever were a day to start swearing… uh, yeah -  today would be one of those days!  It wasn’t bad necessarily – just so busy that I thought I’d never be able to come up for air!  And I didn’t get to until about 8:00 pm!  Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE being busy, but today was something else!  Oh well… happy to have a job… happy to be doing something creative

And I just remembered… I have a client call at 9:00 am.  Oh joy.  Goodnight!
