Did everyone watch the Oscars?  I did… Mainly because it takes place a mile from my apartment and traffic was a serious nightmare, so I opted not to leave the house    All joking aside, I thought I’d share my comments on everything EXCEPT the winners.  Hehe.

The stage was pretty fabulous I thought… Until about halfway through the show when the art-deco lamps came down from the ceiling.  I’m not sure how that really matched the shiny silver glitz and glam of the arena, but hey, it’s the Oscars.  They can do whatever they want.

Loved Neil Patrick Harris… Loved the fashion from the night (almost all of the dresses matched the stage – how color-coordinated of the actresses).  Except what in the world was Charlize Theron wearing?  Uhh… Okay.

Kinda disappointed in the “In Memoriam” tribute for the lack of Farrah Fawcett and Bea Arthur.  Someone in the research department obviously didn’t complete their research.  I’m still wondering what everyone sees in Kristen Stewart.  I don’t find her any sort of charming… Just awkward.  Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin did a fabulous job of keeping me entertained.  No one was safe, and I liked it!

I’d also like to say “Way to go Kanye!” for making being “Kanye’d” at an award show apparently acceptable now.  Super. Unclassy.  On a final note, the show probably wouldn’t have went over by 7 minutes if they would have eliminated that extemely awkward dance number they decided to throw in there… Just saying.
