- Welcome to the life of a REAL 20-something Hollywood Hottie -
As promised – Birthday photos!
First, a quick recap of the evening…
V, Candace, Ingrid, Todd and I all hit up Ketchup for dinner in WeHo. Delish! It also has a great view of the Sunset Strip. We ordered appetizers first – three different types of french fries & sweet potato fries, mac & cheese infused with crab, and crab cakes by themselves. It was really good! Shortly after we placed our orders for main courses, Tim Allen walked in with his daughter and her friends. Fun little celebrity sighting there
Except he walked in after us, and of course got his food WELL before we did! We waited an hour for main courses, but we didn’t mind because we were all having so much fun <3 Then they broke out the Crumbs cupcakes for me! I had a strawberry shortcake one with lime frosting. Seriously amazing! And we shared one with the waiter because we’re cool like that!
After dinner, V called it a night and dropped us all off at The Standard, which is a cute hotel that hosts pool parties on Friday and Saturday’s when it’s warm enough outside. It wasn’t warm enough last night, but it was still a really cute place! Then we headed over to the Olive and just chatted outside. On our way, we sang and danced with an adorable homeless man who told Candace that she was “Too Good to Be True” and then sang the song to her. It was fabulous. haha.
Anyway, we had a wonderful time! Here are some photos!
Right before we left!
With my menu. My friends got me balloons! Aren’t they cute?!
Candace & Ingrid!
V and her menu!
My Warhol Moment… after dark it becomes very orange at Ketchup.
The Green & Yellow one was mine
At the Standard, we all toasted to me! Except me. haha.
My friends are awesome. Thanks guys
Sorry I’ve been absent the last couple days… been busy! This blog will probably be a mashup of a bunch of things. Sorry to be jumpy! Yesterday, I headed to the beach with Vanessa. It was FINALLY hot enough to layout! I am sooo burned today though… gotta be more careful! Anyway, here are 2 pictures that we took…
That’s before I turned into a lobster
But we had fun!
This week has been busy, but I feel like I learned a lot at work! I’ve gotten to see a lot of projects start from the beginning, which is helpful when you’re trying to learn an entire process. I felt like I didn’t know what was going on because I hadn’t been on calls and internal meetings where inportant details were discussed. I also think I’m just super hard on myself. I gotta give myself a break sometimes!
Speaking of being hard on myself… It’s my birthday exactly 2 weeks from today and I’m already disappointed. =/ I don’t know what I want to do, and I’m really afraid that no one will show up if I do actually plan something. I just really dislike my birthday. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as I think… the worst thing that could happen is that I sit at home in my apartment being depressed. I suppose I could always take myself shopping!
Well… I’m going to jump off of here and prepare for tomorrow. Happy Week everyone!

I’m sleepy! Can you believe it? That almost never happens! I imagine it’s from the super fun weekend that I had with my friend Kristy who flew in from Orlando on Friday night
She flew in around midnight to LAX, and then we stayed up until 5 am and ordered delivery from one of my favorite LA restaurants – Bossa Nova! They’re open til 4 am!
Then we stayed out late at the Hotel Cafe and Kitchen 24 on Saturday with our friend Mario, which was a really great time. I think we were up until 3 am that night
On Sunday we were up until 2. We went to the Santa Monica Pier that day and did some lovely frolicking on the beach that night. I took some video footage with my new HD Camera that my parents sent me for my birthday (super awesome!). I was hoping to edit it together and post it tonight, but I just didn’t make it.
Last night, I started a new exercise regime and I can definitely feel it today! Woo-hoo! Yesterday was leg day and today was arm day. I was feeling the burn! Let’s hope I feel some pain in my arms tomorrow as well.
On that note, I’m off to bed. At 10:50 no less! Yay! Have a wonderful week ya’ll!
Me.
